Spring is here in full bloom on the farm. After a very cold and very busy winter spring is here, we have had 9 new calves in 2 weeks, The finches are breeding so fast if they were on centrelink payments the country would be broke. The chickens are laying well and the Japanese Quails make funny noises all night.
The swimming pool is ready for action and in the next few weeks we have Gunnedah golfers, lots of wedding guests, and in November we are holding a Marshall Arts competition on our grounds.
The Wisterea, Jasmine and Hippis, and Azaleas are in full bloom.
We have camping this week nine teenagers and four group leaders from Wesley.
The weather has been cold and frosty mornings but the day have been bright and sunny, the fire bin has been getting a great workout and the teenagers have been having a wonderfull time learning about life on our farm.
Our six resident finches have been busy since arriving at the farm and we now have two young chicks just learning to fly.
June long weekend, guests from Singapore, Queensland, Cessnock, Sydney and some we never found out where they were from but all had a great weekend, we had helpers to feed the chooks, collect the eggs, look after the birds, count the cows and hit and picked up golf balls all weekend.
A good time was had by all and the weather was on its best behavior.
Now its clean up and get ready for the next lot of visitors.
